Tera Class Guide - Get Info About Each Of The 8 Classes And Which You Should Play!

I'm sure at this point, you're pretty pumped about playing SWTOR. Keep in mind that before you start playing, you'll need to find the correct Old Republic Class that is right for you. Having to make this choice may not seem like all that big of a deal, but actually, you are reflecting your personality and how your character will play the game. Do you want to be the tank that is able to run through bad guys with little problems while leading your team to success or will you be the healer that make sure that the tank gets the team through? We will explain what is what and try to help you feel your way around the classes.

Classes of the Galactic Republic

We have (4) four Old Republic Classes for the Galactic Republic. We find that those classes are the Smuggler, Jedi Mendicant, Trooper, and Jedi Knight.

Trooper - Being a class that relies heavily on range, the Trooper has an assault-rifle. Being able to play by himself or with a team, the Trooper is truly a strong force for the reckon with.

Before getting to the Advanced Class section, we see that the Trooper is equipped with grenades along with a blaster rifle. These are the Troopers primary weapons, until Advanced Classes.

Smuggler - This class is somewhat unique as the Smuggler is pretty much a thief. This class works from trickery and always uses surprise attacks to catch his opponent off guard. This class is built in mind that you have not seen this class yet. It is different from other MMO'S.

The Advanced Class section of this class will offer either a Scoundrel or Gunslinger. This may sound like a big deal but the Smuggler is not built to be a damage class. He will not be killing enemies with powerful burst of strength but has a massive energy burst potential leaving him a winner nine times out of ten.

Jedi Knight - As far as we can tell, this is the most popular and sought after class. The Jedi Knight is highly melee oriented and owns his enemies with a lightsaber boomerang (yes, a boomerang) and the famous lightsaber.

When revealing the Advanced Class section, we find that this class can be either a Guardian or Sentinel.

Jedi Mendicant Class - This interesting class relies on both casting magic and using a melee type of lightsaber that offers force abilities. You may be either primarily a melee caster or a caster-oriented when unlocking the Advanced Class Section.

Old Republic - The Sith Empire

Imperial Agent - This class, having a massive amount of abilities to add to his arsenal, uses both melee and ranged attacks. You can consider this class as the most unique class with the Sith Empire.

The Advanced Class section of this class is truly interesting. You get two complete different spectrums. Either you can defend while being a healer or you can attack while being a sniper.

Bounty Hunter - This class is really fun to play with. The Bounty Hunter, using missiles and ranged rifles is considered high powered and aggressive. Consider this class to be a "go get her."

While in the Advanced Class Section, we find that we can be either a Mercenary or a Powertech. Both are high powered.

Free spirit e class

Sith Warrior - Being directly in line with the Jedi Knight, you can be either a Marauder or Juggernaut. The difference in the classes is a "bad guy" and "good guy" mentality.

Sith Inquisitor - If you want a caster and nothing else, look towardsd this class. It is a new class and has the most hours of game planning put into it. This class is meant primary for casting magic but has the ability heal if needed.
